01HEC Recognition Under the Transnational Education Policy
CAS Secures HEC Approval to Offer UK Qualifications in Pakistan. The Centre of Excellence in Advanced Studies (CAS) has secured approval from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan to offer internationally recognised UK qualifications under the Transnational Education (TNE) Policy. This recognition reflects CAS's commitment to maintaining high standards of academic quality, institutional governance and international education delivery. Through this approval, students in Pakistan can pursue selected Pearson BTEC Higher National qualifications within a professionally managed and quality-focused learning environment.
Pearson BTEC Higher National Diplomas at CAS — Fall 2026 Intake
HND in Business: Develop practical knowledge in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, organisational strategy and contemporary business operations.
HND in Computing: Build industry-relevant expertise in software development, networking, cybersecurity, data management and emerging computing technologies.
HND in Art & Design Fashion & Textiles: Develop creative and technical capabilities in fashion design, textile practices, garment development, visual research and professional portfolio creation.
Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals are internationally recognised, career-focused higher education qualifications combining academic knowledge with practical and professional learning. The Higher National Diploma is a Level 5 qualification that normally covers the equivalent of the first two years of an undergraduate degree; eligible students may explore progression to further study, including degree top-up opportunities, subject to admission, credit-transfer and progression requirements of the receiving university.

De Montfort University (DMU), UK
DMU is one of the best universities in the UK with a main campus in Leicester and a branch campus in London. DMU has recognised the ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Law for students studying at CAS. CAS students holding the Law Diploma can join DMU for LLB (Hons) L6 to gain a full LLB degree, subject to conditions including Academic IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in each component). DMU is recognised by the Pakistan Bar Council.
Pearson
CAS is approved by Pearson to offer BTEC Qualifications. Centre number 95529. Pearson is a UK based awarding body recognised by OFQUAL and the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan.
The University of Gujrat
CAS is affiliated with the University of Gujrat for BS Degree course provisions. The University of Gujrat is a public sector university chartered by the Provincial Government of Punjab.
Higher Education Department (HED)
CAS is registered with DPI. HED is responsible for education, learning, and related services for students, faculty, and staff at public and private institutions in Punjab, aiming to ensure all young people in Pakistan have access to quality education regardless of socioeconomic status, race, or culture. The Directorate of Public Instruction Colleges (Punjab) helps with policymaking, administration, and finances.

CAS is a member of ICCI, established in 1984 and incorporated under the Companies Act VII of 1913. ATHE (Awards for Training Higher Education)
CAS is approved by ATHE to offer Law qualifications. ATHE is a UK-based awarding body recognised by OFQUAL, with qualifications approved by a number of UK universities for progression to undergraduate and postgraduate degree top-up.
Federal Board for Intermediate and Secondary Education
CAS is affiliated with FBISE and offers FA General Science, FA Fashion/Art, FSc Pre-Medical, FSc Pre-Engineering, and ICS courses.
NCC Education
A pre-university bridging programme. The NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) is an Ofqual regulated qualification developed by UK academics to help students progress successfully to undergraduate study. NCC Education is CAS's new partner.
