About CAS

Is CAS a registered institution?+

Yes. CAS is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (Registration #0193612) and is approved by HEC to offer UK qualifications under the Transnational Education Policy. Full details are on the Accreditations & Partners page.

Where is the campus?+

CAS Building, Service Road West, Off Fazaia Colony, Islamabad Expressway, Rawalpindi – with directions available on the Contact page.

Intermediate Programs

Which board is CAS affiliated with?+

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).

Which streams are offered?+

FSc Pre-Medical, FSc Pre-Engineering, ICS, I.Com, FA and FA-IT – each with its own subject scheme and career routes.

How does CAS prepare students for board exams?+

Structured syllabus coverage, regular assessment and dedicated exam-technique preparation throughout both years.

HND & International Qualifications

Is the HND recognised in Pakistan?+

Yes. CAS delivers Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals with HEC approval under the Transnational Education Policy, and the qualification itself is regulated by Ofqual in the UK.

Is an HND equal to a degree?+

The HND is a UK Level 5 qualification – equivalent to the first two years of an undergraduate degree. Many students then complete a one-year UK degree top-up to earn the full degree.

Which universities accept HND top-ups?+

Options vary by university and by year. CAS counsellors share current, realistic routes at counselling rather than publishing lists that go out of date.

What is the Law Pathway?+

The ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Law, recognised by De Montfort University (UK) for LLB (Hons) top-up entry, subject to DMU’s conditions including IELTS 6.0. De Montfort University is recognised by the Pakistan Bar Council.

What is the International Foundation Diploma?+

The NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma – an Ofqual-regulated pre-university qualification for students heading to international undergraduate study.

BS Programs

Who awards the BS degree?+

The University of Gujrat – a public-sector university chartered by the Government of Punjab. CAS delivers the programs through formal affiliation.

Is the degree HEC-recognised?+

Yes – the award comes from a chartered public university.

Can ICS students join BS Computer Science?+

Yes – ICS is the natural route into BSCS and BSSE at CAS.

Admissions & Fees

How do I apply?+

In five steps: choose your program, submit your application, provide your documents, attend counselling, and complete your fee to enrol. The full process is on the Admissions page.

What documents are required?+

Academic result cards and certificates, CNIC or B-Form, guardian CNIC copy, photographs and a character certificate. The complete checklist is on the Admissions page.

Are scholarships available?+

Yes – merit-based and need-based support, with current-year criteria available from the Admissions Office. See Scholarships & Financial Assistance.

When does the session start?+

The Fall 2026 session begins in September 2026.
